Cadmium-free brazing alloys according to regulation Reach 494

The regulation Reach 494 began on 10th December 2011. Italbras ceased the production of cadmium-containing brazing alloys from that time and now offers cadmium-free brazing alloys according to Reach 494. Italbras manufactures brazing alloys with a cadmium content of less than 0,01% in agreement with Reach 494. Such a limit is extremely low and Italbras are able stay below this level thanks to the tight control of the production process and the inspection of raw materials. Italbras prepares the certificate of analysis composition, for each consignment, demonstrating that the limit of cadmium is in line with the regulation Reach 494. We invite all companies still using cadmium-containing brazing alloys to contact Italbras and request support in order to convert to cadmium-free brazing alloys. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
